Road improvements are underway on 144th Street as part of the West Farm devolvement project.
The project, which is expected to last until mid-November of 2018, will widen 144th to a six-lane divided roadway from FNB Parkway/Eldorado Drive south to Pine Street. Additionally, the 144th and Dodge interchange off ramps will be widened to add dual right turns.
The plan is split into two phases. The second phase will consist of adding dual left turns into the West and South Farm developments from Pacific Street. The work on Pacific Street will not begin until the City of Omaha completes other projects currently in progress.
