A new report is shining light on the trouble with rural healthcare in Nebraska

The Medical Workforce Report shows that while there are more doctors in the stat than there were a decade ago, there are still 13 rural communities in the state with no primary care available.

Additionally, almost 20 percent of the state's doctors are more than 60 years old and could retire soon.
