As the frigid cold weather sets in for the winter, the Salvation Army is once again helping those who need to keep warm.
On Monday, it opened its warming centers in an effort to bring a little relief from the cold.
There are several different locations.
- Kroc Center, 2825 Y Street
- North Corps Community Center, 2424 Pratt St.
- Lied Renaissance Center, 3612 Cuming St.
- Council Bluffs Salvation Army, 715 N. 16th St.
- Citadel Corps, 3738 Cuming St.
The warming centers will be open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
