The Salvation Army's Winter Night Watch starts on Monday and goes on through February.
The program is in its 30th season that helps make the cold winter nights bearable for the homeless and near-homeless.
The mobile feeding program will depart from The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Services building at 6 p.m.
Volunteers will arrive at 5-5:30 p.m. to load the mobile canteens.
The canteens make stops in multiple locations mostly near downtown Omaha.
Last year The Salvation Army served over 16,000 meals and gave out 8.652 coats and other items. 600 volunteers helped with the program.
The Salvation Army expects to feed as many as 300 people per night at the height of the season.
Supplies needed are: larger coats, tube socks, hats, gloves, blankets.
Clothing donations can be dropped off at 10629 Burt Circle.
