Schools on lockout after reported shooting, robbery

Two Council Bluffs schools went on lockout after a reported shooting Thursday morning.

Police were called to investigate a report of a shooting at the Featherstone Apartments on North 35th street just after 9 a.m.. Police did not find a victim who may have ran from the area. Wilson Middle School and Thomas Jefferson High went on lockout as a result. 

Then around 9:30 a.m., police were called to a robbery at the Council Bluffs Savings Bank near The Mall of the Bluffs. Police are looking for two suspects.  Roosevelt and Franklin Elementary Schools went on lockout as a precaution as police searched the area. 

The lockouts have since been lifted.
