The first snowfall of the season is moving through the Omaha metro.
The snow began falling late Saturday morning. By 1 p.m., snow was beginning to stick on trees and grassy areas. The National Weather Service says due to air temperatures above freezing and relatively warm soil temperatures, accumulations will be limited to mostly grass surfaces, with an inch or less expected.
