LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Seven firearms were found during a traffic stop by the Criminal Interdiction Task Force Thursday morning.
Two men were arrested during the stop, 27-year-old Zachary Macomber of Maryland and 28-year-old Drake Banks of St. Louis. Both men were booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are looking to determine the source and destination of the weapons.
Four pistols, two of which were fully loaded with a round in the chamber. Three rifles were also found, one of which was an AR-15, which was fully loaded. All weapons were in the trunk of the vehicle.
