Soldier surprises parents at Patriots game

Posted

A solider returning home in time for the holidays got to surprise his parents before a crowd of thousands at a professional football game on Sunday.

The New England Patriots took to Facebook to share the video of Staff Sgt. Shawn Hogan’s surprise homecoming.

It began with the stadium announcer welcoming his parents and playing a video message from Hogan, who spent two years stationed at the U.S. embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia.

“I’ll see you real, real soon,” he said in the video before he ran down the stadium stairs to greet his parents.
