One of the oldest orthodox churches in Omaha is celebrating its centennial this Labor Day weekend.
St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, located near 50th and S streets, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a festive banquet, program and dance. Only a handful of churches in the area have reached this incredible milestone.
The celebration was also broadcasted in Serbia so others could take part in the excitement.
