Nebraska state senator Burke Harr of Omaha wants to see ideas for a new flag from the people of Nebraska.
According to Harr, there is nothing wrong with the current flag, but he wants something more distinguishable to see if it garners a positive reaction.
The state flag, which features the state seal, hung upside down at the Capitol for more than a week in January before the mistake was recognized.
