OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) – Mayor Jean Stothert says that Warren Buffett plans to wait until next month to make a decision on whether to make changes to the annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholder weekend.
"He said that he's a very responsible person and public safety is a priority for him,” Stothert said. But with Berkshire Hathaway coming the first of May, he said his preference is to wait until a month out, wait until the first of April and evaluate, see what the recommendations are at that time, and then make a decision."
Berkshire's weekend attracts thousands of visitors to Omaha each year. KMTV will update you if and when a decision is made regarding the event.
