OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Students at wheelchair camp at Lewis Central High School got the chance to try a new sport, hand cycling.

Hand cycling looks like a bike with three wheels that is pedaled with hands instead of feet.

The students were all excited for the opportunity to try it even if it did present a new challenge.

Hand cycles are expensive...costing upwards of $1,000 but their instructors told students about grants they could use to get a hand cycle of their own if it's a sport they're ready to commit to.
