Hundreds of Papillion-La Vista South High School students got a sobering lesson this morning
They got an up close look at what happens when drunk or distracted drivers crash. Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded to the mock crash simulation will real life intensity. Drama students played the role of victims. Students like Courtney Pratt say it is a scary reminder of what could happen. "My cousin was just in a crash. And he's umm.... He's not doing very good. And my dad was a firefighter over there. So it just kind of got me."
The lesson comes as both prom and graduations dates get closer.
