For the second time in as many days, thousands were without power Wednesday morning in Douglas County, but this time the outages were much shorter.
As of 7:30 a.m., more than 3,000 people are without power. The area impacted is mostly from Leavenworth going north to Ames, around 29th to 55th. However, just 15 minutes later, power had been almost entirely restored, 55 people were still without.
