OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Former Nebraska football head coach Tom Osborne and Lieutenant Governor Mike Foley opposed the legalization of medical marijuana in Nebraska on Friday.
Both spoke before a legislative hearing rgearding a bill that proposes the drug's legalization.
Osborne said he has concerns of the impact it would have on young people. Foley said legalizing the drug in the state would put families, kids and communities at risk,
They were joined by the Nebraska State Patrol, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and citizens.
