Keeping the car running to stay warn can be tempting with the cold weather. One family in Northwest Omaha near 129th and Fort had their red 2017 Ford F-150 stolen.

Ginny Henderson said she ran inside to grab something, and was only gone 60 seconds.

"You are in shock, I mean you are like 'Oh my God,' that is my truck," Henderson said, adding that she saw a gray truck follow right behind her red one.

One of her neighbors posted on Next Door, and others offered to help and shared security video.

One camera caught Henderson's truck racing up the street followed by the gray truck.

"It is a gray four-door, older model, you could just see them driving away," Henderson said. "Sadly, I hadn't been aware of my surroundings; had I been, maybe I would have noticed them sitting a house down."

She wanted to spread the word to all the neighbors to avoid someone else becoming a victim.

She hopes someone will find her candy red 2017 Ford F-150, the first letters of her plates are VTD.
