Donald Trump looks to keep his lead in the polls

A series of special guests joined Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump on his final campaign stop in Council Bluffs before the Iowa caucus.

The rally on Sunday was a question and answer session with Jerry Falwell Jr., President of Liberty University, and evangelical leader -- a group trump has been courting lately.

"He doesn't say what the consultants tell him to say, he says what he believes in his heart," Falwell said.

Trump singled out opponent Ted Cruz, for mail he sent to voters which gave them a grade from A to F, encouraging them to caucus.

"I've never heard of anything like this. It is so dishonest," Trump said.

Trump did not attend the Republican Presidential Debate last week in Iowa. Instead, he held a fundraiser for veterans. He presented a second check at the rally to 'Partners for Patriots' for one hundred thousand dollars.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the afternoon, was the introduction of Trump's wife, Melania.

"He will be unbelievable. The best deal maker, the best master negotiator," Melania Trump said on stage to hundreds of Trump supporters.

A recent Des Moines Register poll has Trump standing with 28 percent, with Ted Cruz behind him at 23 percent.
