Tuesday afternoon's storms caused some damage in western Iowa.
3 News Now meteorologist Mark Stitz was chasing the storms and found this damage in Shelby, Iowa. There were reports that high winds downed power lines and blew branches into the street south of town.
We found a mature tree that was damaged by the storm which fell into another tree which kept it from landing in the road.
We also ran across a jackknifed semi in the ditch on Interstate 80 south of Shelby.
