Two more shooting victims hospitalized over the weekend

There were two shootings in Omaha late Saturday, according to Omaha Police releases. 

The first came around midnight Saturday at the 2200 block of South 13th Street. Officers responded to the hospital ay 9:05 p.m. Sunday but the victim, Joshua Williams, said he was shot Saturday and initially thought his injury was minor. 

On Sunday, John Hawthorne, 52, said he was shot late Saturday by two black males near 25th and Taylor. He also waited until Sunday to seek medical care. 

Neither of the injuries are life-threatening. 

In total, there have been seven people injured by shootings since Saturday, according to OPD.
