OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Just after 1:00 p.m., the Omaha Fire Department (OFD) was called to the scene of a single-story residential fire with smoke on arrival.

The fire happened at 5214 North 14th Street.

OFD says crews found heavy smoke inside the structure, which they found to be accidentally caused by an electrical event, and that all occupants exited without injuries.

They say the Red Cross was on the scene and gave aid to the displaced occupants.
