Two staff members were assaulted at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution Monday night.
The attack occurred around 7:30 p.m. According to a release, two staffers were escorting an inmate to from his restrictive cell to another part of the prison. The inmate hit one staffer in the head, then headbutted another.
One staff member had a broken nose and the other suffered bruises to the head and face.
There was an assault of staff members at the prison on Sunday morning.
