According to the Fiske Guide for College 2018, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is one of 20 public universities designated as a "best buy."
The "best buy" schools are ones with academic quality and affordability.
"We are pleased to be recognized for two central aspects of higher education – academics and affordability – and we are dedicated to making sure a degree from Nebraska remains a good value," said Amber Williams, assistant vice chancellor for academic services and enrollment at Nebraska.
The Fiske Guide was created in 1982 by Edward Fiske, a former New York Times education editor.
