Here's a question. How safe are we after the emotionally crippling attacks on Paris?
A UNO forum hopes to answer questions like that in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
Three UNO professors will be on hand this afternoon for the Middle Eastern discussion. Dr. Jody Neathery-Castro of the Political Science Department, Dr. Moseh Gershovich, Professor of History and Director of the Schwalb Center for Israel and Jewish Studies and Dr. Ramazan Kilinc, Assistant Professor of Political Science and Coordinator of UNO’s Islamic Studies Minor will talk about the Russian plane crash in Sinai, that Isis took credit for.
They’ll also dive into the impact of Turkey’s elections on foreign policy - specifically the fight against Isis.
The public is invited and bring your questions to ask. The Middle East forum starts at noon in room 230 of the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center.
