Students, parents and teachers will have the opportunity to weigh in on Dr. Jeffrey Gold at two open forums being held today. Gold became the interim chancellor in April 2017.
The forums will take place in Bootstrap Hall of UNO's Thompson Alumni Center, the first forum starts at 8:30 a.m., the second will begin at 9:45 a.m.
Both forums will follow the same format, but are designed to allow stakeholders to attend the forum that best fits their schedule. The forum will also be live streamed online. Online participants can submit questions during the forums to contact@unomaha.edu, stakeholders can send feedback on the chancellor search to president@nebraska.edu.
Attendees will be able to hear Gold's vision for the campus, ask question and provide feedback. If Gold is approved by the Board of Regents, he'll serve as chancellor until June 30, 2022.
