Friday night a fallen veteran's legacy will be honored at a South Omaha soccer field.
The new turf field at 29th and Y will officially become Miguel Keith Park. Keith, a U.S. Marine, died in Vietnam in 1970 after attending high school in Omaha.
Saturday, the Papillion-La Vista South Navy JROTC will hold a 5k run at Walnut Creek to raise money for a statue of Keith.
