While early voter turnout was strong in Omaha, some of the polling places, such as the Sarpy County Courthouse, had lower numbers than four years ago.
Lines of people waited to get into the polling places in Chalco Hills and Bellevue polling places.
Bellevue had strong turnout with some of the highest numbers in recent elections.
Jermain Jarmon, of Bellevue, has voted Republican in the past but is a Clinton supporter this time.

"I'd say hectic,” Jarmon said. “A little weirder than the other presidential elections I've seen."

While turnout at the Sarpy County Courthouse was lower than four years ago, the 42nd precinct had 600 people cast early ballots before Tuesday.
