Omaha man Hugo Mendoza wore a controversial costume to multiple children's events over the weekend.
OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Over the weekend, a man wore a costume with a toy long gun as an accessory to an event at Westroads and Oak View Mall, sparking controversy.
The man, Hugo Mendoza, was dressed in a black hooded robe and carrying an unmarked long toy gun in a duffel bag.
Mendoza said he meant no harm by his costume, and it was modeled after Ben Affleck's character in "The Town."
