OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) -- — On “World Mental Health Day,” Project Harmony wants Nebraskans to know there's a place they can go to get everything they need if they want to know if they're living with a mental illness.

Nebraskamentalhealth.com is a partnership between Project Harmony, Region 6, The Kim Foundation, Project Everlast, and Nebraska Families Collaborative.

It helps people learn the terms, find treatments, and find providers in their area. You can take quizzes on how you're feeling, and it sets you up with therapists or counselors who may be close to help with what you're dealing with. Plus find information on housing, health care, substance abuse, food, transportation, and much more.

"So really to have everything in one place at their fingertips to assess and help empower them in taking care of their mental health needs is huge and very important,” said Angela Roeber with Project Harmony.

Project Harmony wants providers to know that if you haven't signed up you should register to make it easier for families to find your practice.
