Omaha drivers have seen the problem for years, stop and go traffic that makes them feel like they are catching every red light.
Years ago, the city announced plans for an adaptive control system to help reduce congestion but according to the city, the federal funding process was slow.
Now, residents like Jack Urban are wondering when things are going to get better.
"I usually hit one light and I should be able to get to the next light and make it through that one," he said, "but I don't, it seems like I get stopped and I do that all the way down from like 180th all the way down to 72nd street."
