The amount of construction around Omaha, seems like more than ever and we had a viewer write in asking if we could mention something that comes with the construction, the zipper merge.
The move is inevitable on our roadways and there are many spots around the city you will see cars alternating merges as a lane comes to an end.
Some places around the city where you may be forced to zipper merge:
- Vinton Street between 31st and 41st
- 72nd Street between Hickory and Pacific
- Harrison Street between 145th and 148th
- 132nd Street approaching Maple
- Southbound 144th Street between Dodge and Pine
