The first snowfall of the year always causes trouble, and sometimes, drivers have trouble adjusting.
Amongst the usual frustrations of driving in the winter, there's a new one for Omaha resident Buddy Sims: he feels the cars parked on his neighborhood streets for long periods of time are a safety hazard.
"It's really frustrating in the residential areas when people park on the streets for long periods of time," he said. "A lot of these are on your main thoroughfares through the neighborhood that get a lot of traffic."
Sims also said the cars on the side of the road make the job more difficult for snowplows.
