One resident who lives on U Street near 52nd called the street he lives on "a disaster."
And the street has seen better days, right now, it looks more like an alleyway than a road. The problem for neighbors is the road is one the City does not maintain, meaning residents have to either maintain it themselves or get enough neighbors to sign a petition to get the City to come look at it.
Steve, a man who lives in the neighborhood, said its a hazard to mow his lawn because there are chunks of the road in it from people driving on his yard.
