Officers with the Omaha Police Department say a woman is critically after she was stabbed inside a South 121st Street residence Thursday night.
OPD officers responded to the 3500 block of South 121st Street at around 10:41 p.m. to investigate a stabbing.
Authorities say when they arrived, they found the victim, 52-year-old Deborah Schumacher inside the residence with severe injuries.
Schumacher was taken to Creighton University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
Officials added the suspect was on location, and was taken to Central Headquarters for questioning.
