In light of the recent tragedy in Orlando, the call for blood donations has skyrocketed.
Typically this time of year, there is a "Summer Shortage", but Tuesday an all out effort is underway as it's World Blood Donor Day.
With summer nearly here,organizers say vacations and severe weather can affect regular donations.
