The Henry Doorly Zoo's two female Rockhopper penguin chicks now have names.
Keepers picked Myrtle as the name for the first chick, which was submitted by 7 year old Clayton Sudduth of Omaha. The second chick's name is Ethel, which was submitted by 63 year old Jody Nordstrom of Omaha.
Zoo guests submitted a total of 4,344 name suggestions. The winners will receive a gift bag from the zoo.
Myrtle and Ethel are currently on display in the Antarctic Penguin exhibit.
