MARYSVILLE, Calif. (KMTV) — Actor Shaun Weiss of "Mighty Ducks" fame was arrested in California on Sunday on charges of burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police say officers were dispatched to a home on the 600 block of 11th Street for a burglary in progress just before 7 a.m. Police say they found Weiss inside the homeowner's vehicle inside the garage.
According to police, Weiss shattered a window in order to get into the car. Officers say they saw shattered glass and that the passenger window was broken.
Police say the 41-year-old Weiss showed signs of being under the influence of meth. He is being held on $52,500 bail at the Yuba County Jail.
Weiss is best known for his role as "Greg Goldberg" in "The Mighty Ducks" movies about a group of youth hockey players.
The homeowner was the only person who lived at the residence.
