WASHINGTON (KMTV) - A new CBS News poll is giving President Donald Trump optimism about his re-election chances.
The poll finds that 65% of registered voters nationwide think President Trump will definitely or probably be re-elected, whether they're voting for him or not.
That includes more than a third of Democrats who believe that.
More than 9 in 10 Republicans think Trump will win a second term, the poll finds.
In potential head to head matchups with all the major Democratic candidates, the poll finds that President Trump would be in a tight race no matter who the nominee is.
The CBS News poll was conducted by YouGov between February 20-22, 2020.
