Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines. KMTV got a sneak peak this morning as crews were setting up for the 2016 Midlands auto show at the CenturyLink Center Downtown.

"My favorite part of the auto show is always the move in," Director Tam Webb said. "It is just so cool to hear some of these cars and their engines roaring."

This year dealers will showcase more than 400 new cars. There's also a private collection featuring eight cars from Omaha collectors. Including two 1970 Plymouth Superbirds, a 2012 McLaren, and a 1953 Porsche.

"A lot of these cars in the cages, you won't get to see ever again. They are pretty unique," said Paul Czyz.

Czyz is from Omaha. He's one of the owners of those eight cars in the private collection. He's showing off his laser blue one of a kind 2007 Lotus.

"I trailered it in. I didn't want to get it dirty for the show."

There's also a way to give back while you're picking out your next ride. This year organizers are raffling off a 2016 Chevy Colorado, different from cameros raffled off in years past. All of the money raised from the raffle will go to the Make-a-Wish foundation.

The 2016 Midlands Auto show is Thursday, January 28th through Sunday, January 31st.
