If you're the kind of person who likes DIY projects, you're in luck. A new spot in Valley, Nebraska is a like your own personal craft room, where you don't have to clean up.
Friday, Amy Hickey and her three year old Hunter were having a mommy and me play date painting Christmas trees at DIY Studio Valley in Valley, Nebraska. Thirty minutes from the metro, the room takes the Pinterest board and puts the supplies in one place. From door hangers to wreaths, people come in and create.
There's also a craftspert to help you along the way. Shelly Minette is the manager and house artist behind many of the creations, helping perfect otherwise Pinterest fails into works of art.
"I am not gifted that way either," said DIY Studio Valley owner Rochelle McGill, "And you can do the grunt work per say, and Shelly can tidy it up to display it when you are done."
"People are always afraid, but there are no rules in art. You can do whatever you want," Minette said.
As for Hunter Hickey, mom says her aspiring artist is always ready for a project.
"He loves to help mommy. He definitely wants to be a part of it," Amy Hickey says.
Lucky for them both, there's now a spot for that.
