OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services has issued an emergency order to close Deb's Day Care near 84th and Maple in Omaha.

Debra Harrison is no longer able to provide childcare to any children other than her own. According to a release, an emergency order is issued whenever the Department finds that an emergency exists requiring immediate action to protect the physical well-being and safety of a child in a child care program.

Harrison's husband William allegedly committed two sexual assaults on children between December of 2014 and December of 2018, according to an affidavit. William Harrison is listed as a secondary provider for Deb's Day Care. William was charged with two counts of felony sexual assault of a child on Jan. 12.
