Creighton's Sydney Gillespie was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week after her performance at the Creighton Classic. Gillespie shot two rounds of 79 for a 158 total to tie for 14th place. Her individual scores helped the Bluejays to a sixth-place finish.
Next Creighton heads to Bedminister, New Jersey to compete in the Pirate Invitational Oct. 28-29.
