The NCAA announced Tuesday Omaha will be hosting two sporting events in 2020.
The 2020 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship will be held at CenturyLink Center in Omaha Dec. 17-19. Creighton will also host the 2020 NCAA tournament first and second round.
The NCAA Tournament Regional will be held in Omaha next year.
The University of Nebraska and Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (MECA) will be the hosts of the Championship.
This is the fourth time Omaha has been selected as the volleyball championship site since 2006. This makes it the most of any host site in the NCAA Division I women's volleyball history.
Five of the top six attendance figures all-time have been set at the CenturyLink Center.
Nebraska won its fourth national title in front of an NCAA-record crowd of 17,561 at CenturyLink in 2015.
The other three sites announced for the upcoming NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championships are Minneapolis in 2018, Pittsburgh in 2019, and Columbus, Ohio in 2021.
The 2017 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championships are being held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
