Inclement weather expected in the Omaha-metro area throughout the next 36 hours has caused many area high schools to cancel activities over the weekend.
Omaha Public schools announced via Twitter that all activities for Saturday, Dec. 17 have been canceled due to weather. Other schools around the metro area have canceled activities as well.
Millard Public Schools has announced that activities that start prior to 2 p.m. on Saturday are canceled, and any that come after 2 p.m. will be determined at a later time.
Here are some of the cancelations that have been made as of Friday afternoon:
Saturday, 12/17 activities that start prior to 2 pm are cancelled. Includes any travel prior to 2 pm. Evening activity determined later.
