LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Switching gears to the hardwood Fred Hoiberg and company are busy getting a revamped Huskers roster ready for their upcoming trip to Italy.
Coach Hoiberg is looking for players who understand the importance of mental toughness on the court and know how to fight through adversity.
"When the tough times hit that's when they have a tendency of shutting down and that's what you see at all levels and we need to continue to battle through those time and we're trying to find out which guys are mentally tough enough to go out there and battle a hundred percent of the time," Hoiberg said.
The Huskers leave for Italy on August 3 and will be in Europe through August 13.
