The Creighton men's basketball took down No. 23 UCLA to earn its second consecutive win over a top 25 ranked team Monday night. The Jays came out with a 100-89 win over the bruins after a 92-88 win over No. 20 Northwestern. This is the first time in program history that the Jays have defeated two top 25 teams back-to-back.

Bluejays' Marcus Foster led the team with 23 points while true freshman Mitch Ballock closely followed with 22 points.

Ballock put on an impressive performance while being surrounded by family and friends. Ballock's career high performance was done so just 35.5 miles away from his hometown Eudora, KS.

Creighton's Khyri Thomas (16), Ty-Shon Alexander (12) and Davion Mintz (10) also finished in double-figures. Teammate Ronnie Harrell Jr. tallied up 15 rebounds to help the Bluejays on defense.

Creighton will advance to the finals of the 2017 Hall of Fame Classic Tuesday night at 9. The Bluejays  will face the winner of the No. 25 Baylor vs. Wisconsin game.
