Despite having a 5-2 lead to start the day, the Nebraska baseball team struggled from there losing game one of the series at Ohio State on Saturday, 9-7.

The game was restarted in the 4th inning Saturday afternoon after bad weather postponed the contest Friday night.

Matt Waldron struggled relieving Friday NU starter Jake Hohensee. Waldron gave up seven earned runs on ten hits including a nightmare 5th inning in which the Buckeyes scored six runs.

The Huskers will try to even the series later Saturday afternoon.
