ACMs: More performances, presenters announced

With less than a week until the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, new performers and presenters were announced Monday.

Potentially most notable is the addition of Blake Shelton as a performer during the live broadcast. Shelton released his first new single since his very public divorce. “Came Here To Forget”, earlier this month. His ex Miranda Lambert is not among the scheduled performances announced so far.

Also joining the line up will be Little Big Town and Charles Kelley. 

Old Dominion, who already picked up an ACM for best New Duo/Group of the Year is also scheduled to perform. 

Previously announced performers include Dolly Parton with Katy Perry, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Cam, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, BrettEldredge, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Chris Young with Cassadee Pope, and Florida Georgia Line.

In addition to new names on the performance stage, we also got a better look at who will be presenting some of country music biggest stars with their awards.

Miss America Betty Cantrell will join country singers such as Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, Nancy O’Dell, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Kiefer Sutherland and Cole Swindlell in presenting the awards.
