Hy-Vee has issued a voluntary recall tonight for millions of customers across eight states. The chain was informed by a manufacturer about possible salmonella contamination in Diamond Crystal Brands Cheesecake Mix.
The mix was distributed to 117 of Hy-Vee's 249 stores, including those in Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Customers can recognize the recalled product by it's expiration date. The impacted cheesecakes all have an expiration date between December 6th, 2018 and January 11th, 2019.
The recall impacts 16 flavors in both their 8 oz. and 32 oz. sizes. A full list of the recalled products is below.
