For Meghan Trainor, Valentine’s Day was all about the love for one little person — her new son, Riley!

The baby boy was born on Feb. 8, but Trainor and her husband, Daryl Sabara, waited and announced the birth of their first child on Valentine’s Day instead.

“This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day,” Trainor posted on Facebook. “We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE.”

The post included images of the new baby on the day he was born, along with with his doting mom and dad, who have been married since 2018. Meanwhile, Sabara posted that Riley weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces when he was born, and the new dad took the opportunity to share his love for his wife.

“@meghan_trainor you are my forever Valentine and I’m so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world,” he wrote on Instagram.

Trainor has been keeping her fans up to date with her pregnancy progress on social media. A few weeks ago, she shared a beautiful pregnancy image on Twitter, writing, “Baby is breech again at 36 weeks so I’ve been laying upside down on my couch everyday lol…other than that we are doing amazing & we’re ready to meet this baby!”

Fans might remember Sabara from the “Spy Kids” movies, and it’s a legacy Trainor is planning to embrace as Riley grows. When “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown congratulated the new parents in the comments section of  Trainor’s Instagram post, she added, “your [sic] going to be amazing parents and teach baby Riley all about Spy Kids and MUSIC!!”

“I can’t wait to dress him up as Spy Kids for Halloween someday,” Trainor replied.

Trainor had revealed her pregnancy in October, along with the news that she was expecting a baby boy. She chose “The Kelly Clarkson Show” to go public with the gender reveal, saying, “We’ve never told anyone … I saved it for you, Kelly, I love you!”
