OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — After being open daily for nearly three consecutive weeks, Omaha's Disaster Resource Center (DRC) operated by The Salvation Army is adjusting its hours.
Located near 84th and Center, the DRC will change its operating days to Monday through Friday only, starting the weekend of April 6-7.
The DRC will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Friday, then will be closed over the weekend. Monday, the location will re-open from noon to 5 p.m.
Two additional DRCs in the metro area will be in operation the weekend of April 6-7 -- the locations in Sarpy-Cass Counties and in Council Bluffs.
The hours of these locations are as follows:
Sarpy-Cass DRC (in the old JC Penney store at the south end of Southroads, 1001 Fort Crook Road, Ste. 250, Bellevue)
· Saturday, April 6: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
· Sunday, April 7: noon – 7 p.m.
Council Bluffs DRC (715 N. 16th St.)
· Saturday, April 6: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
· Sunday: closed
